Professionals are testing new Bosch products for 2010: The Bosch ProTeam enters its second round

• Since March 2009, professional tradespeople from all over Europe have had the opportunity to become a member of the Bosch ProTeam and test new blue Bosch power tools for professionals exclusively and free of charge
• Test reports are published at www.bosch-pro-team.com
• The successful campaign will be continued in 2010 with an expanded range for professionals

“Become a tester in the Bosch ProTeam!” – This call on the Bosch Blue website has been answered by many tradespeople from all over Europe since the start of the campaign in March 2009. Almost 250 applicants have made it into the ProTeam and were able to test the new products from the range of blue Bosch power tools for professionals exclusively and free of charge.

Tradespeople are very enthusiastic about the exclusive test

The many positive test reports submitted by the professionals show just how well tradespeople are responding to the campaign. For example, Tim Koßmann, who is an electrician by trade, tested the first impact drill with integrated dust extraction, the GSB 19-2 REA Professional, and wrote this: “With this tool you’re the envy of everybody on construction sites and at customers’ premises. Given the chance, they’d all love to take it home with them.” Daniel Kucik, who is a builder by trade, was able to become a Bosch ProTeam tester and examine the quality of the GBH 3-28 DFR Professional. He wrote the following: “We also used the rotary hammer to drill holes for fixings in thermal insulation work. We used it to drill more than 12,500 holes in concrete and porous concrete. Working with this power tool was great. Everything got done a lot faster and was easier to do.” And Alajos Lajtos, who is an electrician by trade, has also been impressed by the power of the rotary hammer. He said: “The impact force is first-class, and the built-in vibration control is very effective!”

From cordless screwdriver to angle grinder: Now you can choose the tools you want to test!

A choice of attractive new Bosch products, e.g. cordless screwdriver, jigsaw or demolition and rotary hammer, will again be available for testing in 2010. Bosch is currently offering the powerful Angle Grinder GWS 22 (J)H Professional. Anybody who wants to conduct their own field test to assess the benefits of this tool can apply by December 4, 2009 at www.bosch-pro-team.com.

New: Test reports with videos and photos

From April 2010, not only the test reports but also photos and videos about the tests will be published at www.bosch-pro-team.com. Professional tradespeople who want to put their own personal touch to their reports can, for example, submit portrait photos or they can film the test using a cell phone camera.
