This small cordless tool, which weighs only one kilogram, can be used for a wide variety of applications and offers the professional the same power as comparable corded tools. Whether precise plunge cuts in various materials such as wood or plasterboard, flush cutting of copper pipes, protruding nails or screws, trimming a door frame, or cutting out and replacing damaged tiles: the GOP 10.8 V-LI Professional combined with the wide range of Bosch accessories gets every job done with ease. Even precise sanding in the smallest of corners or scraping all different kinds of materials such as old carpet adhesive or silicone joints are performed quickly with the Multi-Cutter.
The tool comes complete with two Premium lithium-ion batteries from Bosch and a 1/2-hour quick charger to ensure continuous work. The battery is charged to 75 percent of its capacity after only 15 minutes of charging. A charge level indicator on the tool shows at all times how much energy is left in the battery.
The handling and ergonomics of the Bosch Multi-Cutter are also unprecedented on the market. With a handle circumference of only 175 millimetres, this compact tool sits incredibly comfortably in your hand. The gearbox housing has softgrip coverings that ensure a secure grip and enable low-fatigue working.
The precision of the tool is a result of its oscillation principle with up to 20,000 oscillations per minute: the accessories do not perform circular motion, instead they oscillate at an angle of 1.4 degrees to each side. This enables fine, tear-free cuts, and sanding in corners. All of these kinds of applications are made possible by the comprehensive range of accessories in Bosch quality. The saw blades or sanding sheets can be attached in 30-degree steps appropriate for hard-to-reach areas, and fixed with a screw. The oscillation rate is conveniently set between 5,000 and 20,000 oscillations per minute using the setting wheel, in order to adjust the tool to perfectly suit the task at hand and the material being worked on. The motor driven by the 10.8 volt lithium-ion battery offers plenty of power for professional applications.
