“Limed, brushed and oiled: that is the new trend for oak-look doors”, says Klaus Brücher, a master carpenter, as he explains his project. The paint on the parquet floor has not yet fully set in some rooms, which means he has to be especially careful. Dust-free drilling is therefore enormously important for the holes that the master carpenter has to drill to fit the fire protection components at the wall opening for the door frame. However, even this is not a serious problem thanks to the GSB 19-2 REA Professional from Bosch – Klaus Brücher says: “To drill cleanly in concrete, I would otherwise need a second man or I’d have to hold the external extractor myself. If you’re up on a ladder, that’s a complicated and dangerous affair.”

The extremely high suction force of the impact drill is generated by a twin fan, which simultaneously cools the motor. The Bosch micro-filter system collects the drilling dust and retains even the finest dust. The retaining valve prevents the unwanted escape of dust during transport or when the dust box is emptied, while the practical viewing window shows how full the dust box is. The dust box and the dust extraction module can also be removed from the tool in one single move. These are impressive advantages.
