Bosch voted a Superbrand by the British public
- Bosch takes 1st place in ‘Construction and Materials - Tools/Equipment’ category
- Business brand survey ranks Bosch 27th out of 500 companies
- Consumer brand survey ranks Bosch 34th out of 500 companies
Bosch Power Tools have been voted first in the ‘Power Tools’ category in the 2009 Business Superbrand survey, whose results were published recently.
The Business Superbrand survey, which takes place annually and is in its 11th year, presents brands to thousands of individual business professionals and asks them to rank their favourite based on their perceptions of the brand’s quality, reliability and distinction. It has become a key barometer on the strength of brands across a wide variety of sectors.
According to the Superbrands Council, ‘A Business Superbrand has established the finest reputation in its field. It offers customers significant emotional and tangible advantages over its competitors, which customers want and recognise’.
Overall, in the Business Superbrand survey, Bosch were ranked 27th. Similar results were also seen in the Consumer Superbrand survey, determined by a nationally representative sample of 2,100 consumers, with Bosch being ranked 34th overall, and 2nd in the ‘Household Appliances’ category.
President of Bosch in the UK, Peter Fouquet said:

In today’s tough economic environment, people want to know more than ever that they are getting value for money and a product that is built to last the distance. Voting for Bosch as a Superbrand demonstrates their recognition of these characteristics in our products”.
In 2009 Bosch Power Tools have also won the ‘Hire Award of Excellence’ and 14 ‘Plus X’ awards including ‘Most Innovative Brand 2009’.
