What do you think about power tool manufacturers offering products for sale with part of the price going to charity?

We'd love to know what you think.

No problem with that, as long as it comes out of your profit, lol

 Don't Bosch do that anyway?

I was under the impression that the company was structured in such a way that a proportion of profits were directed towards "humanitarian causes", as provided in Robert Bosch's will.

There's an article in Wikipedia about it.

Indeed we do.

The question was to try and gauge whether there is a market for purchasing tools link to specific charity causes. For example the pink 'breast cancer care' drill driver launched by a competitor. Currently we do not run something like that for Professional power tools.

Kind regards
Bob

I'd respectfully suggest that it's something better suited to your DIY tool programme.

I think marketing your product to consumer end users would work better, while leaving your Blue range firmly focussed on professionals.

The competitor you mentioned doesn't have clearly defined DIY and professional ranges as you do.  Having said that, however, there's actually some tools in your Blue range that would be better suited to the DIY range anyway:  they're not really of a sufficiently "professional" standard.

Hey

In the end we came to the same conclusion.

I'ld be interested in knowing which tools you consider the 'weakest' in our range. We have a pretty wide range though. :)

Kind regards
Bob
