What must I note when disposing of Li-ion batteries?

Li-ion batteries are disposed of in the same way as all other batteries. They must never be burned or disposed of in general waste disposal, but should only be discarded via recognised specialist waste depots. Alternatively, they can be returned to a recognised customer service centre or a Bosch customer service centre for disposal.
