General advice:
- Before starting any maintenance, please switch the lawnmower off and remove the grass box.
- Remove the isolator key and the battery (Rotak 34/37/43 LI only).
- Remove the plug from mains (Rotak 34/37/40/43 only).
- Always wear gardening gloves when handling or working near the sharp blades.
To exchange the blades, please follow these steps:
- Turn the machine on its right side and inspect the blade; if blunt or damaged, replace.
- Insert a screwdriver into hole to lock the drive.
- Hold the blade using gardening gloves (not provided) and use a spanner (not provided) to remove the blade bolt, blade washer and blade.
- Remove the old blade and take the new blade out of the packaging.
- Fit the blade, blade washer and blade bolt
- Before tightening the bolt firmly, please ensure that the blade has been fitted correctly (you should be able to see the ☺-symbol).
- Ensure that the screwdriver is removed before attempting to turn the machine on.
- Please doo not lubricate blade or blade bolt during refitting.
